The Xbox free Games with Gold for June 2019 will start off with NHL 19 on June 1. The latest entry in EA’s long-running sports franchise, NHL 19 earned decent reviews when it released back in September of 2018. However, Xbox Live Gold subscribers who are also signed up for EA Access may be disappointed at its inclusion since it’s already in the EA Access Vault. The other Xbox One game that will be a part of the free Games with Gold for June 2019 will become available on June 16 and will be up for download until July 15....

Now, as the new month closes in, there’s a few titles that’d be great selections for games on the service. These aren’t prediction for what to expect, moreso a selection of games that would make sense and succeed on the Games with Gold service. Considering the nature of Xbox’s ambiguous selection process, it’s hard to gauge which games are next for Xbox’s Games with Gold. With that in mind, here’s a few games that would be perfect for Games with Gold this July....

For February 2019, Xbox Game Pass has added the following games: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Walking Dead: Complete First Season, Pumped BMX Pro, De Blob, Crackdown 3 and the first two Batman Arkham games (Arkham Asylum and Arkham City). Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is the third instalment in the rebooted Lara Croft series, will be available on Game Pass on 7 February. Side scroller BMX trick game Pumped BMX Bro and the entire first season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will release on the same day....

Both of the games added to Xbox Game Pass in the latest update are day one titles. The first is Lemnis Gate, a unique turn-based first-person shooter game that has turned heads for its strange concept. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with Lemnis Gate matchmaking, but hopefully those problems are ironed out soon. Anyone curious about the game can download it through Xbox Game Pass and check to see if things are in working order....

As seen in the image below, the major headliners for Xbox Game Pass in August 2018 is Season One of IO Interactive’s episodically structured Hitman, and Crytek journey to the ancient Roman Empire with Ryse: Son of Rome. What’s more is that Capcom’s Dead Rising 2, Reikon Games’ Ruiner, Team17 Digital Limited’s The Escapists: The Walking Dead, Long Hat House’s Dandara, and Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure will join the service this month, too....

Xbox Game Pass was first launched in summer 2017 and has since become arguably the primary focus for Microsoft’s gaming division, with major emphasis being put on the service as the company continues to acquire industry giants such as Bethesda and Activision Blizzard. The studio has been adding day one launch titles to the platform since 2018’s Sea of Thieves and has continued the trend with major titles such as Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Halo Infinite, alongside major third-party titles including the entire mainline Yakuza series, Back 4 Blood, and MLB: The Show 22....

Losing games on a holiday may seem odd at first, but it obviously has nothing to do with it being Halloween. The last day of the month always seems games leave the service, so it’s no surprise that Xbox Game Pass and Halloween line up this way. The good news is that Xbox Game Pass has introduced a bunch of great games to play this Halloween and continues to do so, while those leaving on Halloween don’t really undermine the holiday in any way....

As of February 14, Xbox Game Pass subscribers across PC, console, and cloud can check out day one game Infernax. For those who may be unfamiliar with the game, Infernax is a retro throwback to the heyday of 2D action platformers. It seems to have most in common with the old-school Castlevania games and appears to be a successful homage. Infernax reviews have been mostly positive so far, so fans of those kinds of games should make sure to check it out while it’s available as an Xbox Game Pass freebie....

Those who were thinking about outfitting their Xbox LIVE Avatar with with a Lancer from Gears of War 3, may want to go purchase them now. This is because as of January 1st all gun-like items will be removed from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. People are probably wondering why such iconic weapons are being removed from the Marketplace. Microsoft is starting a new policy where going forward no guns can be purchased for Xbox Avatars....

This summer, gamers will finally be able to play background music as they browse around menus or even play different games. It was an oft-requested feature, and is essential for a console which was touted as a media entertainment centre. The console will now be language region independent as well, so users can switch the console to a different language regardless of region. It’s an accessibility update that is probably long overdue, as the language needs of global gamers don’t always match their location....

The new settings will be rolled out later on this month for members of the Xbox Insider program, which allows gamers to test out upcoming features and help fine-tune them before a larger-scale public release. Oklahoma firefighters pension fund file lawsuit According to Bloomberg Law, the lawsuit was filed by an Oklahoma firefighters pension fund on December 26 in Delaware Chancery Court. It claims that there is ‘a credible basis to believe’ that top executives of WWE and McMahon are redirecting resources towards the XFL, which is against their responsibilities towards the investors. Furthermore, the suit also suggests that the board members of WWE failed to carry out a proper inspection to ensure that the chairman wasn’t involved in any transaction that would conflict with the company’s interest....
