The WWE Universal Champion has been a force in the professional wrestling company, but there have been rumours of him heading back to the UFC for upwards of a year now. It appears that it might finally be happening, with Ariel Helwani of ESPN and The MMA Show reporting on it. In case you didn’t know… At UFC 226, Daniel Cormier did the unthinkable and knocked out the taller Stipe Miocic in a fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship....

The WrestleMania card did not mention Joe, it was very clear in his interviews leading up to the pay-per-view that he intends to make a huge impact at the biggest WWE event of the year. Former RAW General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley might also make a surprise appearance in the non-sanctioned match. Foley and Stephanie McMahon had an intense verbal spat on RAW, following which Foley chose to step down from his position on the WWE Management Team....

Becky Lynch will be defending the Raw Women’s Title against Bianca Belair, while Charlotte Flair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Title against Ronda Rousey. Those matches are on night one. There will be a title vs. title match on night two, with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns fighting for the WWE Title and the Universal Title. Kevin Owens is also expected to confront “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on The KO Show....

On the other hand, Sin Cara joined the list of recent WWE Superstars who have asked for their release from the company. Jon Moxley also talked about the reason that prompted him to quit WWE whereas Kofi Kingston shared unknown details about Vince McMahon and the latter’s reaction to his title loss against Brock Lesnar. Governor Mark Gordon announced the state’s next phase of reopening during a news conference Wednesday. “It’s important to remember that, even as we ease restrictions, the virus is not gone,” Gordon said. “It is still here, it is still invisible and it is still capable of wreaking havoc. And it’s going to be with us for some time in Wyoming, just like the rest of the country.” By Thursday, Wyoming’s Department of Health has reported 688 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases statewide....

On Saturday, the 74-member Wyoming GOP passed a resolution to censure Cheney, with just eight members opposing the move. The approved document alleges that Cheney joined House Democrats to impeach Trump without “due process,” and makes clear that the state party will stop efforts to raise money for the lawmaker. The censure resolution also asks Cheney to return donations that they provided to her 2020 campaign. “I’m honored to represent the people of Wyoming in Congress and will always fight for the issues that matter most to our state,” Cheney said in a statement defending her “vote of conscience” to impeach Trump....

Alonso, who joined the club in 2009, made it clear earlier this month that he was eager to win more trophies with Madrid - including the elusive 10th European title. The 32-year-old has played 12 times in all competitions to date this season, but is currently sidelined with an inner ear problem and was forced to sit out the win over Celta Vigo on Monday.

On Twitter earlier today, a fan asked Xbox boss Phil Spencer whether Project Scorpio will have a boost mode like the PS4 Pro. Although Spencer’s reply didn’t specifically mention the PS4 Pro’s boost mode, which improves the performance of the console including offering higher frame rates, the Xbox executive did say that he is “very confident” in the way that the Project Scorpio will run existing Xbox One games....

On Twitter, Mike Ybarra, the corporate vice president of the Xbox and Windows gaming platform at Microsoft, said that he “disagreed” with Sony’s point of view. The executive wrote that “[Microsoft wants] gamers to play the best games of the past, current, and future,” also noting that Xbox backwards compatibility is “what gamers asked for.” However, although many fans have indeed asked for the feature, according to new data, very few Xbox One users actually play Xbox 360 games....

In a new post on Xbox newswire, Kareem Choudhry laid the companies plans out in full for fans. Starting on September 15, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be getting access to over 100 games from the cloud on their Android phones or tablets. Microsoft considers this a beta launch to allow it to ensure platform stability and will be available in 22 markets first before scaling up to even more players and markets....
