This would allow fans to pick and choose from events they’re interested in without having to fork out for a full month’s subscription. It’s not yet clear whether they would have infinite access to the PPVs they’ve purchased in a library, or if they would only be available to stream live or for a certain period of time thereafter.
Interestingly there are still fans that are paying full price for the PPVs through traditional providers, which suggests they do not have the right technology or are just not interested in watching content over the internet for whatever reason.
We’ll have to wait and see whether WWE will follow through with the new concept.
