Shane McMahon and The Undertaker are expected to tear the house down with one high spot after another in the Hell in a Cell match. It won’t be a technical masterpiece, but it doesn’t really need to be. This one will be action-packed and filled with drama; it will have all the elements of a great WrestleMania match.

Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar will go to war in a No-holds-barred street fight that could see more destruction than any bout fans have seen in quite some time. Lesnar is not in the business of losing at Mania, but Ambrose in on a roll right now and can’t afford to lose either.

Triple H and Roman Reigns will do battle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a match that many fans are not looking forward to. WWE has done everything in its power to get this one over, but so far fans have not been on board.

These are just the three headlining matches at WrestleMania, and with a full card built around it, there’s hopefully something for everyone here. Fans are debating and speculating as always, all in an effort to predict what will happen on 3 April.

But the question of what should not happen is likely being asked as well. Knowing what moves to make and when is important, and with any luck, WWE will not make the following five mistakes.

5. Ryback must not squash Kalisto

Kalisto has been compared to Rey Mysterio and with good reason. Both men are Luchadores, both are exciting to watch, and both bring a tremendous amount of energy to their matches. Both men are also underdogs.

This was the primary selling point for Rey when he was in the WWE. Fans bought in with him because they respected him, and because they wanted to see him do well. His smaller size was of little consequence in the end, because he always managed to fight back from adversity.

Kalisto definitely needs that fighting spirit at WrestleMania 32.

He is outweighed, out powered and out muscled by The Big Guy, Ryback. Ryback is a monster that physically has the potential to do great things in the business, but has never quite achieved any real level of success in WWE.

He’s improved in the ring, he completely inhabits his character, and he makes fans believe in who he is. The problem is, believing has not yet equaled success for him. However, this time, he’s got a prime spot on the grandest stage of them all and it’s a championship match.

But that does not mean Kalisto needs to be sacrificed for Ryback’s betterment. Kalisto has a bright future ahead of him, whereas his opponent has received one opportunity after another to shine.

Ryback could very well go over in this one but that does not mean he should physically decimate Kalisto on his way to becoming the new United States champion.

4. Charlotte must not retain the Divas Championship

Charlotte is perhaps the best heel Divas champion the WWE has seen in years. She’s truly hated by fans that have been critical of her rather quick elevation up the ladder in the company. She’s also been heavily criticised for the involvement of her father, the famous Nature Boy Ric Flair.

But unfortunately, fans just don’t get it sometimes.

Charlotte’s background and Hall of Fame lineage are helping her in the long run. She has a championship pedigree like no other woman before her, and Ric’s presence at ringside has helped shine the spotlight on her from day one.

But though she’s been a top notch Divas champ, the time has come for her to drop the belt. Becky Lynch is a great talent, capable of filling the Dean Ambrose/Daniel Bryan role in the Divas division. One day she will surely win the belt and have a nice run with it. But WrestleMania 32 belongs to The Boss.

Sasha Banks is destined to win the championship from Charlotte on 3 April. This is her night, the night in which her hard work will finally pay off. She has been waiting her turn from the moment that she, Charlotte, and Becky debuted on Raw. She sat back and watched as others took their shots. But she’s done waiting.

Banks deserves this match, and she deserves this win. She has such a personality and swagger, that fans can’t help but support her. She could heel out all day long but it wouldn’t make a difference.

Fans know what she brings to the table, and they know that no one can do it quite like she can. They also know she should win that belt at WrestleMania.

3. Brock Lesnar should not conquer Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is the Lunatic Fringe, the man that so many fans have rallied around as this generation’s Roddy Piper. Dean speaks his mind, he always goes for broke in the ring, and he is absolutely fearless. It’s that fearlessness or his mental instability, that’s led him to poke the dragon.

Brock Lesnar has never met an opponent quite like this. The Beast Incarnate is accustomed to being the Alpha male, the king of his domain, every time he steps into the ring.

Many have challenged him, and many have fought with incredible pride, strength, and determination. But no one has ever done what Dean Ambrose has done.

Dean laughs at Brock. He mocks him. He looks at Brock, and sees the Beast that he is, then smiles at him and dares him to pounce. The consensus here is that Ambrose is doing everything he can to throw Lesnar off his game so he will inevitably make a mistake.

But this is just Dean being Dean. Ambrose inhabits his own unique place in the WWE Universe, a place where size doesn’t matter, and neither does fear. The only thing that matters is the fight, and Dean has an abundance of fight in him.

For this reason, Dean must go over on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. Many believe this is just not going to happen, because of Brock’s place as one of the company’s top draws. But Dean is the future, and if there is a way for him to not only get out of this match alive but to get out with the win? Then he definitely must take it.

2. Roman Reigns vs Triple H should not end without controversy

Roman Reigns is the next WWE World Heavyweight champion and an overwhelming number of fans just do not want to see it. For over a year, Roman has been elevated to incredible heights while the world has sat back and watched in awe.

How many opportunities was he going to get? How many times was WWE going to insist on spotlighting him though he was not receiving enough fan support? The answer to all of these questions seems to be “as long as it takes,” because we are on the eve of his final ascension as WWE’s next top guy.

But this is not an outcome that should happen easily.

Controversy is a tricky thing, and must be handled correctly, but this match must end with more speculation than fans can even imagine. Too much has happened on both sides for this one to finish with a simple three count and Reigns celebrating with his newly won championship belt.

This is about Reigns fighting back against the WWE’s corporate structure, about doing everything he can to overcome the tremendous odds that he’s been fighting for so long. Triple H has returned to his former role of the dominant champion, the cold-blooded killer that dissects his opponents with extreme precision.

But he’s also the executive that will ultimately control the WWE World Heavyweight Championship despite who’s wearing it. He knows that Roman will not play along with that, so he must take steps to shut Roman down permanently.

This is why Roman vs Hunter cannot end that easily. Roman has traveled the road to the top since WrestleMania 31, and he has been met with such resistance along the way from The Authority; there’s no reason to believe that will end now. Whether it’s a heel turn, outside interference, or both, this one needs more than just the elementary finish.

1. Shane McMahon should not lose to The Undertaker

Shane McMahon is stepping into a situation that no one expects him to win.

Vince McMahon’s son wants change. He wants something new and fresh. He wants Monday Night Raw to be powerful again, to be trendsetting, and more importantly, he wants it to be fun. Shane McMahon sounds just like a fan but this fan is believed to be on his way to a loss.

Undertaker has lost one time at WrestleMania, but that one loss has followed him since it happened. No matter what he’s done since then, and no matter how many times stories of Brock Lesnar’s unwillingness to pin him are told, Taker is still haunted by WrestleMania 30.

Why in the world would WWE want to add another chapter to that horror movie? This is why fans believe Shane has no chance. But this is exactly why Shane must win on 3 April.

The fact is Undertaker is on the way out. That moment may come this year, it may come next year, or it may come two years from now. But it’s coming and despite how much fans want to see him go out with a win, the truth is Taker is old school. That means he gives back, and likely wants to give back when the time comes.

This does not necessarily mean that he’s going to do the honours to Shane McMahon as a footnote to his WWE career. But it does mean that he has no reason to keep having amazing moments in which he’s presented as unstoppable. After all, the most important part here is the story.

The story of Shane somehow going over against The Deadman would be so incredibly surprising and intriguing, that fans would undoubtedly be anxious to tune in. Of course, this is not to say Taker should lose cleanly; a distraction, outside interference, something unexpected, should happen here.

WWE must find a way to make Undertaker look strong as well as give the win to Shane McMahon. Raw is the most important thing here, and that is not going to change until someone other than The Authority is on the air, calling the shots.

As long as the ending is logical, and as long as it’s leading to something worthwhile, there is no reason to believe Undertaker will not do business here. Moving the company forward is what matters, and Undertaker has always been a major part of that.
