The Xbox console franchise began in 2001 and through impressive hardware and titles, it managed to create a memorable and appreciated series of consoles. While the Xbox One managed to deliver a commendable package, some players felt that the franchise needed to invest in gaming rather than multi-media aspects. With the announcement of Halo Infinite, players began to look forward to what would come to the new console, and there seem to be plenty more games on the way.

In an official Xbox announcement the company claimed, “In July, we will dedicate time to focus on the incredible games coming from Xbox Game Studios. A number of our studio teams are looking forward to sharing first looks at new gameplay, insights from development teams being optimized for Xbox Series X, and brand-new game announcements.” While there haven’t been too many announcements about exclusive games, it seems that more will be revealed in July. There is already a great deal of speculation about returning franchises such as Fable, and many fans will hope to get confirmation of the return of cherished IPs. However, in the immediate future players can look forward to seeing more of titles that will release for all platforms such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
There are already a number of games that are set to feature on the Xbox Series X as well as the PlayStation 5, and these titles will have a greater focus on May 7th in Xbox’s 20/20 event. However, many fans will look forward to what exclusive titles will be announced, especially after recent Xbox hires. It will be interesting to see if the exclusive games return to existing franchises, create new entities, or do a mixture of both.
The Xbox Series X seems to have several games in its arsenal although they have yet to be revealed. For that reason, many will look forward to finding out more about the games coming to the console in July. In the meantime, many gamers will look forward to seeing more from titles that will release for both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in the future.
The Xbox Series X is scheduled to be released in the holidays, 2020.
