Xbox’s focus for the sale, at least as shown in this preview, appears to be hardware. Several big discounts for Xbox consoles will be available starting June 7, including a $100 discount on the Xbox One X and $50 discounts on all specific Xbox One S bundles. Those bundles include the brand new Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle, with a purple console and controller, 2000 V-Bucks, and an exclusive pack including a Legendary Outfit, Epic Glider, and Rare Pickaxe.
In a surprising move, the Xbox E3 2019 sale will also feature big discounts on PC hardware. Xbox is partnering with several pre-made PC manufacturers including Asus, Razer, and MSI. Through these manufacturers, Xbox says there will be discounts up to $500 on gaming PCs, laptops, and FreeSync monitors.
The Xbox E3 2019 sale will, of course, also include a huge variety of games. Xbox’s preview confirms that “hundreds of games” will be dropped as low as $19.99. While expected pricing for each individual game isn’t available yet, Xbox did list some of the exciting games to be discounted:
Mortal Kombat 11 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Forza Horizon 4 World War Z Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Sea of Thieves NBA 2K19 Anthem Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Spectre Rising Edition
The Xbox E3 2019 Deals Unlocked sale will also include discounts on controllers, up to $10 off or $64.99 for an Xbox Design Lab controller. And up to 60% off Xbox merchandise like t-shirts and hats through the Microsoft Store.
With less than a week until E3 keynotes begin, excited game players best start saving their coffee money. The Xbox Deals Unlocked Sale is just one of many sales, part of a smorgasbord of discounts across every platform capitalizing on E3 excitement. The PlayStation Days of Play Sale has already been announced. The Epic Games Store has an ongoing $10 discount on all games through June 13. Steam’s ran a Live From LA sale in 2018 which will likely return in some form. And there’s certain to be plenty of surprise sales and new games to preorder, too.
The Xbox E3 2019 Deals Unlocked Sale starts June 7, ahead of the first press conference on Saturday, June 8, and will end June 17, four days after the E3 showfloor closes down on June 13.
