The 74 games receiving an FPS Boost come from a variety of different game series and genres. One of the biggest benefactors is the Assassin’s Creed franchise, which now has six games enabled at 60fps for both Xbox Series X and S including Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and the three games included in Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. Fans of this storied series and fans of other Xbox games benefitting from the boosts are celebrating by sharing clips of their favorite games running at improved frame rates.

Besides the Assassin’s Creed franchise, other big franchises like LEGO and Far Cry get additions to the Xbox FPS Boost club. LEGO games now make up the largest chunk on the boost compatible list with 11 games in total. A few of the LEGO games are even able to hit 120fps on the Xbox Series X with a compatible monitor, including LEGO Marvel Superheroes, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, The LEGO Movie Videogame, and LEGO The Hobbit.

There are also some excellent individual titles to get the FPS Boost treatment. One of these is the 2014 survival horror game Alien: Isolation, which is actually available on Xbox Game Pass at the time of writing. This isn’t the only FPS boosted game on Game Pass, so subscribers should check out the boost list and see if their favorite boosted game is also on Game Pass. The action RPG Anthem also gets the 60fps boost but only on Xbox Series X. Still, this is at least some good news for Anthem fans since the news broke that Anthem 2.0 was cancelled.

Microsoft is continuing to work on making more Xbox games compatible with the FPS Boost feature, so more games should be added to the list in the future. The FPS Boost feature is automatically enabled on Xbox Series S consoles, but for some Xbox Series X games the feature is off by default due to reduced resolution required to make 60 fps possible. However, it seems plenty of players are fine with a reduction in resolution for the FPS Boost, and the feature can be easily turned on in the Compatibility Options for Xbox Series X consoles.
