Both of the games added to Xbox Game Pass in the latest update are day one titles. The first is Lemnis Gate, a unique turn-based first-person shooter game that has turned heads for its strange concept. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with Lemnis Gate matchmaking, but hopefully those problems are ironed out soon. Anyone curious about the game can download it through Xbox Game Pass and check to see if things are in working order.

The other day one game is Dandy Ace, a title that is just now making its Xbox debut but was previously available on PC. Dandy Ace earned fairly positive reviews when it first launched, with praise given to its art style and roguelike elements. Roguelike games are all the rage nowadays, so anyone looking for another one to try should certainly consider playing Dandy Ace through their Xbox Game Pass subscription.

It’s worth pointing out that Lemnis Gate and Dandy Ace aren’t even the last games coming to Xbox Game Pass before the month of September is out. September 30 will see the addition of even more Xbox Game Pass games, with Marvel’s Avengers coming to Game Pass alongside new JRPG Astria Ascending. And then just a day later on October 1, yet another game is making its Xbox Game Pass debut as a day one title.

Turn-based strategy game Phoenix Point, from the creator of X-COM, is finally making its console debut on October 1. And when it does so, it will be immediately available to play for anyone that has an Xbox Game Pass subscription. There will likely be many other titles added to Xbox Game Pass in October as well, though subscribers will have to wait a bit to learn more information about them.

Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass is also removing some games soon as well. A handful of games are leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of September, including the critically-acclaimed indie Night in the Woods, so anyone interested should be sure to check them out while they still can.
