The full line-up of April Xbox Game Pass games is impressive beyond just Monster Hunter World, though. On April 11, Prey from Arkane Studios and Bethesda as well as The Golf Club 2 join the service. Both Monster Hunter World and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be added on April 18. And finally, Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 and Resident Evil 5 will be added on April 24 and April 25, respectively.
Arkane’s Prey will likely be familiar to many, given the developer’s impressive development history with the Dishonored franchise. In Prey, players take on the role of Morgan Yu as they fight to survive and investigate an alien presence on a space station. In The Golf Club 2, players can compete in a single-player career mode, online against human opponents, or casually in any of the game’s many golf courses.
Filling out April’s line-up is, of course, the third-person action game Monster Hunter World, The Walking Dead’s third season, A New Frontier, and the second and most recently released episode of Life is Strange 2. The final addition in April will be Resident Evil 5, one of the most controversial releases in the main Resident Evil series and perhaps the catalyst for its more recent shift back towards its horror roots.
If April’s selection of Game Pass releases wasn’t enough to entice Xbox users to subscribe, Microsoft has an offer that some may find difficult to refuse. Starting tomorrow, April 11, Microsoft will be offering new subscribers 3 months of Game Pass for just $1. The offer will be available between April 11 and May 12, meaning new subscribers have a wide window to join as they please. Microsoft is currently offering just 1 month of Game Pass for $1, so waiting until tomorrow to subscribe will prove very beneficial.
