Microsoft has now confirmed four more games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass in the near future, with three of those titles getting the boot on March 31 and one of them set to leave in April. March 31 will be the last day that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Madden NFL 20, Narita Boy, and Shadow Warrior 2. The removal of Madden NFL 20 may not sting all that much when one considers that Madden NFL 21 and Madden NFL 22 are both available to play with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate anyway, but it may still be disappointing to some subscribers.

Madden NFL 20, Narita Boy, and Shadow Warrior 2 are all leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 31, and then on April 11, Destiny 2 and its expansions will leave the PC version of Game Pass. Destiny 2 and its expansions were removed from the console version of Game Pass a few months ago, but now PC gamers will have to part ways with it as well. Destiny 2 on PC Game Pass included the base game, Beyond Light, Forsaken, and Shadowkeep, so its departure means PC Game Pass is losing a significant amount of content.

Since Microsoft usually announces Xbox Game Pass removals every two weeks, some may be scratching their heads as to why it decided to announce Destiny 2 leaving PC Game Pass so far in advance. However, it’s worth pointing out that Microsoft gave fans extra notice when it removed Destiny 2 from the console version of Game Pass as well. It’s likely that Microsoft recognizes Destiny 2 as a popular Game Pass game and by giving fans extra time to prepare for its removal, it can avoid some potential backlash.

Anyone that wants to keep Destiny 2 on PC or the other games leaving Xbox Game Pass this next month can purchase the games at a discount for a limited time. Every Xbox Game Pass game is available at a 20% discount for those that want to buy them to keep, though that offer will expire once their removal dates come around, so Xbox Game Pass subscribers keep that in mind.
