Night Call is currently available for download, but the other three games will be available starting June 25th. Night Call is a narrative-driven murder mystery game that puts you in the shoes of a cab driver in Paris. The game’s black and white art style takes inspiration from games like LA Noire or Limbo. Night Call is sure to entertain those who enjoy a deep mystery story.

Observation will also join Game Pass and will be available both on console and on PC. Observation is an adventure-puzzle game published by Devolver Digital. This unique game lets players see through a system AI in a space station and solve a mystery regarding the disappearance of the crew. As the story progresses, players will learn more about the surviving crew and the AI itself.

Another Devolver Digital game is also included in the Xbox Game Pass June lineup. The Messenger is perhaps one of the most exciting indie games coming to Game Pass. Although it had been previously leaked for Xbox One, the confirmation of The Messenger on Game Pass is a dream come true for players who enjoy platform games. The Messenger is a side-scroller action game based on a ninja’s quest to deliver a scroll and players will encounter many enemies and learn new abilities through a beautiful 8-bit world.

The fourth game joining Game Pass is the top-down RPG, Streets of Rogue. The game is described as being about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. Streets of Rogue combines elements such as free exploration and hints of a fast paced roguelike style like Binding of Isaac. Players will have many choices to make that will affect the deep gameplay of Streets of Rogue.

Seven games will be leaving Game Pass on June 30th. The four games joining Game Pass will look to replace those as players are given a well-rounded cycle of games this month. Life is Strange 2 is a narrative-driven game that will be leaving Game Pass, but Night Call will replace it as a game in the relatively same genre. All four games joining Game Pass deliver experiences in vastly different genres and will be well worth a try when they are all available.

Some games will only be for either the PC or the console. Battletech will be PC only, along with Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2. Thronebreaker, which should quench fans’ thirst for more The Witcher content while the Netflix series resumes production for season 2, will be console-only, along with Kingdom Hearts.

Many gamers will want to replay or experience Kingdom Hearts for the first time, and now they can do so on their Xbox console. The 17-year-old Disney/Square Enix classic is still popular especially for young gamers who enjoy adventuring their way through all the best worlds in the Disney universe with Donald and Goofy. The HD remakes are bundles of the original games, from the remastered Kingdom Hearts to Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Remix 2.5 also includes the hour-long film “Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover.”

Some may be disappointed that there are no new releases, but starting June 16th Xbox Game Pass holders will be able to pre-install the Xbox game preview of Grounded, Obsidian Entertainment’s new ant-sized adventure. The game itself will be released July 28th.

There is a dark lining to this silver cloud. 10 games will be sunsetted on June 15th, including Samorost 3, Resident Evil Revelations, and Everspace.

On the off chance that someone out there would rather not have access to the above games this summer, here is a step-by-step guide on how to cancel an Xbox game pass.
