Microsoft has now confirmed six titles that are leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup later in October. Some of these games are exclusive to the PC version of Xbox Game Pass, but most of them are available on both PC and Xbox consoles. All six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass starting October 15, so anyone interested can prioritize these games and make sure they play through them for free through Game Pass while they still can.

The games leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 15 are Gonner2, Heave Ho, Katana Zero, ScourgeBringer, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, and The Swords of Ditto: Momo’s Curse. Heave Hoi and The Swords of Ditto: Momo’s Curse are only available through Xbox Game Pass on PC, whereas the other games are currently available on both PC and consoles. Most of them are relatively short games, though someone that wants to beat Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition while it’s still on Game Pass should definitely prioritize it as it’s longer than the others, taking roughly 50 hours long for an initial playthrough.

Out of these games, the most highly-rated is Katana Zero, a 2D action game that earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its original release in 2019. Katana Zero was so well-received in fact that it event snagged itself a nomination at The Game Awards that year for Best Independent Game, though ultimately lost out to Disco Elysium. Katana Zero is also a pretty short game, so it should be easy for anyone that wants to beat it to do so before it’s removed from Xbox Game Pass on October 15.

While Xbox Game Pass is losing six games later in October, it’s also gaining titles throughout the month as well. The turn-based strategy game Phoenix Point just joined Xbox Game Pass on October 1, and more titles are scheduled to release later in the month. One of the most notable new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October is the Left 4 Dead spiritual successor Back 4 Blood, set to join Game Pass on October 12.

There will be many other new Xbox Game Pass games in October, though Microsoft has yet to reveal its full October plans for the service.
