Xbox Game Pass has experienced a ridiculously strong year, with major titles like Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Game Awards nominee Psychonauts 2 debuting on the service at launch. They’ve also had a few interesting perks scattered throughout 2021, including one that entailed its subscribers to a free Disney Plus trial.

Not content to rest on its laurels, Xbox is planning to end the year on a high note, with December having one of their biggest Game Pass updates yet. The headline attraction is obviously the Halo Infinite campaign, which lands on December 8, but there are a few other highlights as well.

For instance, Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be coming to the service on December 14, just in time for its second season of content. The multiplayer shooter is a great choice for those who want to hang out with their friends during a cooperative gaming session, especially if you all happen to be invested in the Aliens mythology.

On December 14, the new season will launch, bringing an extra “Point Defense” mode, challenge cards, weapons and cosmetics. So, if you haven’t already given it a shot, then now is the best time to (orbital) drop in.

Not to mention, Among Us will also be making its Game Pass debut in December, for both console and PC owners. Again, the social deduction game is another one that’s best enjoyed with friends, which is ideal because you will soon all be able to download it with ease.

The first of these perk bundles, which is available to claim from December 8, includes four XP boosts, four Challenge Swap cards and the “Pass Tense” skin for the MA40 Assault Rifle (which cannot be unlocked any other way).

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in December 2021

As is the case with other streaming services like Netflix, content does not always stay on Xbox Game Pass forever.

Sometimes titles (mainly third-party ones) are sadly removed from the platform, meaning that you will have to buy them if you wish to continue playing.

These are the games that are leaving on December 15, 2021:
