As of February 14, Xbox Game Pass subscribers across PC, console, and cloud can check out day one game Infernax. For those who may be unfamiliar with the game, Infernax is a retro throwback to the heyday of 2D action platformers. It seems to have most in common with the old-school Castlevania games and appears to be a successful homage. Infernax reviews have been mostly positive so far, so fans of those kinds of games should make sure to check it out while it’s available as an Xbox Game Pass freebie.

Joining Infernax as a new Xbox Game Pass game on February 14 is Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition. Ark is a multiplayer survival game where players explore a massive world filled with all kinds of creatures, including a variety of dinosaur-like beasts. Ark earned somewhat mixed reviews when it first launched but has managed to build a dedicated following of players who are still jumping into the game to this day.

It’s an exhausting amount of content that should have no problem keeping Xbox Game Pass players busy for the long haul.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out Ark and Infernax now, but there’s even more for subscribers to look forward to later this month. February 17 will see the addition of Total War: Warhammer 3 to PC Game Pass, with the game already earning rave reviews from critics. Snowboarding game Shredders is also announced for a possible February 2022 release as a day one Xbox Game Pass, though rumors indicate that there’s a good chance it will get pushed to March.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers should soon have a much clearer idea of what to expect from the rest of the month. February 15 is the day that six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass, but it’s also the day when Microsoft will likely reveal the rest of the games coming to Game Pass in February 2022.
