Many fans are already looking forward to Yakuza Kiwami 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month but there are also some hidden gems in the new additions. These range from horror games to mining titles and curious players may enjoy a journey off the beaten path with these games. Although, understandably, some players want bigger titles for the service.

On July 16 Forager and Mount & Blade: Warband will arrive on Xbox consoles and they look set to please fans of exploration. Forager is an acclaimed 2-D game that is based in farming, crafting, and exploring while Mount & Blade focuses on building a realm through military means. For fans of different genres, there is a short wait before better-suited games arrive on Xbox Game Pass.

Later in the month, on July 23, players can get their hands on Carrion and Golf With Your Friends (just on the PC). Carrion is as the name suggests a horror game and likewise, Golf With Your Friends is exactly how it sounds and allows players to play the sport with each other. Carrion is debuting on the Game Pass service and it will be interesting to see if its reverse horror premise hits the mark.

Towards the end of the month players will be able to play Grounded (July 28) as well as Nowhere Prophet, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and The Touryst (July 30). While none of these games quite compare to the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2, which is on the Xbox Game Pass, these are still interesting titles. The Touryst lets players explore and solve puzzles and Nowhere Prophet is a card game. Of course, Yakuza Kiwami 2 seems to be the highlight here, as it is a fantastic remake that brings the beginnings of an acclaimed franchise to a more contemporary audience.

While some fans may want higher-profile games, some great games are coming to the Xbox Game Pass. There is also a distinct possibility that bigger titles may come next month.
