While Xbox Game Pass will soon be getting Gears Tactics, it will lose some significant titles on April 30. This will include the likes of Fallout 4, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Braid.

At the time of their release, Fallout 4 and Wolftenstein: The New Order renewed two series that had not been heard from in a while. Fallout 4 was announced to be Bethesda’s most successful game in early 2017, which is impressive given Skyrim’s continued popularity. Further, Wolftenstein: The New Order breathed life into a decayed series that had fallen out of relevance alongside other id Software properties that would later gain traction again, such as the Doom series.

Braid was an early hit on the Xbox 360 in 2008. It had proven to be a formidable platformer in its own right, so its removal from Xbox Game Pass may come as a disappointment to some dedicated fans. However, the game is still available for purchase on other digital stores such as Steam and the Xbox Games Store.

There are several other games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass this month. Specifically, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will no longer have access to Silence, The Banner Saga 2, Ruiner, Full Metal Furies, Smoke and Sacrifice, Bomber Crew, and Metal Slug 3. While not the big hitters that those highlighted above were, these are still titles that will likely be missed in their absence from Game Pass. As mentioned previously, there are other options available still.

Overall, Xbox Game Pass is still a steal for Xbox One owners and PC gamers. Popular titles like NieR Automata regularly hit the service, which allow players to experience games that may go under the radar, or more so than fans of lesser-known games would want them to. NieR Automata, for instance, was a game that gave notoriety to an otherwise niche series.

Xbox Game Pass is currently available at $9.99 per month on Xbox One and $4.99 per month on PC; Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is currently available at $14.99 per month.
