RELATED: Best Local Co-Op Games to Play on Xbox Game Pass
For anyone who doesn’t know, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold. Xbox Game Pass provides access to an ever-growing library of games to download and play, including indies, triple-a titles, and Microsoft exclusives. Xbox Live Gold is the service needed to play games online. The library has over 100 titles to choose from, with more being added every month. It is currently stocked with great titles like Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Alan Wake.
Not only is the service itself a good investment, but the timing of the deal couldn’t be better. A new line up of Xbox Game Pass games for June 2020 is set to drop tomorrow (June 11), which may be more than just a coincidence. In any case, subscribers are in for a treat, as there are eight new games coming to the service, many of them very well-liked. Among the titles are The Bard’s Tale ARPG, Thronebreaker, and No Man’s Sky.
This is an especially good update for fans of a certain Square Enix franchise. The Xbox Game Pass is adding tons of Kingdom Hearts games that will be helpful to those who are just getting into the series. Both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will join the game library, each a remastered collection of previous titles that lead up to the story in Kingdom Hearts 3, which is already part of the Xbox Game Pass. Once players are caught up on the series, they can check out the ReMind story DLC, an expansion meant to tie up some loose ends.
